Zusammenfassung

SUPSI is seeking a PostDoc Researcher in the area of intelligent control of networked systems at the Dalle Molle Institute for Artificial Intelligence (IDSIA). The successful candidate will collaborate on European and industrial projects, develop semantic reasoning and knowledge representation, and publish results in leading venues.

The role includes co-supervision of PhD candidates and working with an international team in Lugano.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in Computer Engineering, CS, Informatics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated programming in Python and experience with semantic technologies (RDF, SPARQL, OWL).
• Strong publication record in relevant research areas.
• Experience supervising PhD candidates and thesis students.
• Ability to prepare and submit project proposals in competitive funding calls (e.g., EU programs).
• Very good English communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate on European and industrial projects by developing semantic reasoning, agentic AI, and knowledge representation techniques.
• Conduct innovative research in intelligent control of networked systems.
• Design and implement experiments to explore novel approaches and techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address complex challenges.
• Co-supervise PhD candidates and students.
• Support the LEON team and contribute to proposals with industry partners.
• Publish results in high-quality international conferences and journals.
