The University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) invites applications for a PostDoc Researcher in the area of intelligent control of networked systems, with a focus on semantic world models for safe, explainable Physical AI, based at the Dalle Molle Institute for AI (IDSIA) in Lugano.

You will collaborate on European and industrial projects, conduct innovative research, and supervise PhD candidates, contributing to proposals and disseminating results at international

Qualifikationen

PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics or a related field.
Proven publication record in relevant research areas.
Ability to independently prepare and submit project proposals.

Aufgaben

Collaborate on European and industrial projects developing semantic reasoning and knowledge representation.
Conduct innovative research in intelligent control of networked systems.
Design and implement experiments to explore semantic world models for safe AI.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address complex challenges.
Co-supervise PhD candidates and students.
Support LEON team and prepare research proposals with industry partners.
Publish results in high-quality international conferences and journals.
