Job summary

lastminute.com is seeking a Business Analyst for its Payments & Fintech team to own performance insights across checkout and payments. You will blend data skills with e-commerce monetization knowledge to surface drivers of revenue, costs, and margins, and to guide product decisions.

The role is junior-to-mid level, ideal for someone with 4–5 years of experience who wants real ownership and cross-team exposure to product and data initiatives, growing into broader business responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in analytics or product metrics.
• Strong data skills and ability to link metrics to revenue and costs.
• Experience partnering with product, data and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor payments and checkout performance across markets, brands and devices, and identify KPI movements.
• Translate KPI changes into business impact on revenue, costs and margin; suggest actions.
• Prepare regular business reviews with data, insights and slides for stakeholders and management.
• Detect anomalies in payments and checkout and coordinate investigations with Product, Engineering and external partners.
• Own real-time alerting for payments and checkout; tune thresholds and extend coverage as business grows.
• Partner with payment partners and internal teams to inform discovery, sizing opportunities and success metrics.
