San Diego Community College District invites applications for adjunct (part-time/substitute) positions across City, Mesa, Miramar campuses and continuing education centers. Applications are kept in a pool for fall, spring, and/or summer semesters. Assignments may include day, evening, weekend, and/or off-campus classes.

Part-time/temporary faculty offer flexible hours and serve a diverse group of adult students. Applicants should reside within commuting distance of San Diego.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree AND two (2) years of professional experience related to the subject of the course taught; OR,
• Associate degree AND six (6) years of professional experience related to the subject of the course taught; OR,
• The equivalent.

• Provide instruction in accordance with established curriculum and course outlines.
• Teach all scheduled classes.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter areas.
• Fulfill professional responsibilities of a part-time/temporary faculty member.
