Job summary

Medartis is seeking a Field Development Specialist to support hands-on education and clinical collaboration in Basel. The role focuses on ensuring positive surgical outcomes through in-depth training and direct involvement in procedures, with emphasis on building long-term relationships with orthopedic surgeons and healthcare providers.

The position requires 3+ years in surgery or a clinical setting and values candidates with experience in medical education, sales, or sales training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in surgery or other clinical setting (orthopedic OR preferred).
• Experience in sales and account management highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with surgeons and hospital staff.

Responsibilities

• Participate in surgical procedures to assist healthcare professionals with proper use of devices.
• Conduct product demonstrations and trainings for healthcare professionals.
• Share surgeon insights with marketing and product development teams.
• Develop and execute comprehensive training programs for healthcare professionals and sales teams.
