The role focuses on IT risk, governance, and third‑party risk, ensuring controls are in place and aligned with the company’s risk appetite.

The position involves guiding teams to implement robust risk controls, developing indicators, and communicating risk insights to management.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in operational risk management within banking or financial services including IT risk, outsourcing, and third-party risk.
• Solid understanding of core operational risk concepts, control frameworks, and governance environments.
• Ability to analyse and structure complex topics into clear actions and identify second-order impacts of failures.
• Proven track record of investigations, tactical workarounds, and sustainable control enhancements.
• Familiarity with fintech risk areas including payments, cards, lending, fraud, and AML.

Aufgaben

• Identify and assess a range of risks including IT risk.
• Guide teams to design and implement effective controls.
• Develop and implement operational risk policies and procedures.
• Contribute to the definition of risk indicators and risk appetite statements.
• Develop techniques for quantification of operational risk and resilience, including stress testing and impact tolerances.
• Manage the risk incident process and ensure accurate recording of events.
• Oversee incident reports and their handling.
• Monitor operational risk against limits and coordinate with risk stakeholders for resolutions.
• Produce risk reports for management and relevant stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain risk tools and IT systems.
• Conduct presentations and workshops on risk identification and mitigation.
