Zusammenfassung

Schroders UK is seeking an Operational Risk Manager based in Zurich to oversee the group's operational risk framework for Wealth and Asset Management. The role partners with the second line of defence and requires collaboration across businesses to maintain risk controls and capital planning.

You will manage RCAs, risk events, and MI reporting, while training staff and leading strategic risk framework initiatives. Fluency in English is expected; German is a plus.

• Wealth/Asset management and operational risk management experience.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills; team-player attitude.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail in risk reports.

Aufgaben

• Provide robust oversight of the Operational Risk Framework implementation and tools.
• Manage stakeholder engagement within the Switzerland business on risk matters.
• Oversee RCA program across the business and change assessments.
• Provide second-line oversight of key transformation initiatives.
• Lead investigation of risk events and escalate significant issues to senior management.
• Deliver Operational Risk sections of Wealth Management ICAAP and develop risk scenarios.
• Analyze, report and present operational risk MI for senior committees and boards.
• Present to clients on the risk framework and respond to RFPs and queries.
• Oversee and train users on the operational risk system.
• Provide operational risk training to the business.
• Lead framework-enhancement projects.
