Job summary

Oxford Global Resources is seeking a Test Automation Engineer specialized in Python for an on-site freelance role in Bonaduz, Switzerland. The project runs 12 months with a 40-hour workweek, starting ASAP.

You will design, implement, and maintain automation across unit, integration, and system tests for embedded and cloud-based applications, transitioning test infrastructure from C# to Python.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of Python development.
• Experience with embedded Linux devices and cloud-based applications.
• Experience with CI/CD environments.
• Experience with test automation tools (Robot Framework, Behave).
• Fluency with Git and source control.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, extend and improve an existing CI/CD environment and framework for automation of software test execution.
• Improve and maintain testing processes and infrastructure.
• Improve and maintain test system for embedded Linux devices and cloud-based applications.
• Create test cases for integration and automation.
• Ensure high software quality through unit, integration and hardware-in-the-loop tests.
• Guide team members on best practices in modern test automation.
• Collaborate with Embedded Software Engineers to understand their needs.
