Job summary

MRH-Zermatt SA is seeking a Night Front Office Manager in Zermatt for the winter season. The role covers night shifts with Sunday and holiday work, overseeing check-ins, guest services and nightly audits.

• Night front office management experience preferred.
• Experience with ISO quality management standards beneficial.
• Night audit and cash handling experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Handle check-in and check-out for late arrivals and departures.
• Provide guest services during night shifts and ensure quality standards.
• Conduct nightly audit, reconcile transactions and balance accounts.
• Verify and post charges for rooms and services.
• Prepare and review guest bills and close daily cash sheets.
• Address guest complaints to achieve satisfactory resolutions.
• Operate the telephone switchboard and perform basic admin tasks.
• Maintain hotel premises and ensure safety during night hours.

• Handling check-in and check-out for late arrivals and early departures.
• Providing guest services throughout the night in accordance with ISO quality management standards.
• Conducting nightly audit processes, including reconciling transactions and balancing accounts.
• Verifying and posting charges, such as room rates and service charges.
• Generating financial reports and statements for management review.
• Posting daily sales and closing entries.
• Preparing and reviewing guest bills, checking and filing guest checks.
• Handling guest complaints or issues to ensure a satisfactory resolution.
• Operating the telephone switchboard and performing basic administrative tasks.
• Performing general cleaning duties.
• Ensuring peace and order throughout the hotel, including regular patrols of the premises.
