Grand Hotel Zermatterhof in Zermatt is seeking an experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to oversee daily operations and maintain the highest cleanliness standards across guest rooms and public areas.

You will coordinate schedules, monitor performance, handle guest complaints, and ensure safety and health regulations are met while collaborating with Front Office and Maintenance teams.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• More than 1 year of housekeeping experience.
• Very good spoken and written English.

• Assist in managing, training, and motivating the housekeeping team to meet and exceed service standards.
• Conduct regular training sessions on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and guest service expectations.
• Monitor team performance and provide feedback to ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and professionalism.
• Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure compliance with hotel standards.
• Handle guest complaints related to cleanliness, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with ordering, managing, and controlling housekeeping supplies and equipment.
• Ensure proper stock levels of cleaning materials, linens, and guest amenities.
• Track and report inventory usage, ensuring no shortages or overstocking occurs.
• Assist with planning and coordinating housekeeping schedules to optimize staff efficiency.
• Monitor and manage the daily work schedules for housekeepers and room attendants.
• Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of housekeeping equipment.
• Ensure that all guest requests related to housekeeping are addressed promptly and professionally.
• Communication with other departments, including Front Office and Maintenance, to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle special requests and VIP guest needs to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to by the housekeeping team.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment for all housekeeping staff.
• Assist with the preparation of reports on housekeeping activities.
• Handle administrative tasks related to housekeeping operations.
