Job summary

MSF International is recruiting an Managing Director in Geneva or nearby with a mandate to lead institutional governance, strategy execution and movement-wide services for MSF International as a Swiss legal entity.

The role requires extensive senior leadership experience in complex, international organisations, strong governance and risk management, and the ability to manage hosted staff and cross‑functional teams across locations.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in large, international organisations.
• Experience with governance, compliance, risk management and fiduciary oversight.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional and institutional change.

Responsibilities

• Lead translation of strategic priorities into objectives, policies and resourcing for MSF International.
• Provide executive stewardship of movement-wide services and governance.
• Oversee budgeting, financial planning and statutory accounts for MSF International.
• Foster an inclusive, high-performing culture across a distributed workforce.
