What happens when Microsoft 365 and cloud services are critical to the daily operations of a large enterprise?

You make sure they keep running.

As a Modern Workplace Operations Engineer, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of Microsoft 365, Modern Workplace, and Microsoft Cloud services. You'll work closely with internal ICT teams, security and governance functions, as well as external technology partners to ensure service availability, performance, and operational excellence.

You'll get hands-on with Microsoft 365, Azure, Modern Workplace technologies, Windows environments, identity services, and enterprise cloud platforms. From managing incidents, problems, changes, and service requests to coordinating vendors and supporting production transitions, you'll play a key role in keeping business-critical services running smoothly.

This is a strongly operations-focused role. We're looking for someone who enjoys working close to the technology, taking ownership of services in production, and solving real-world operational challenges. Experience with ITIL processes, service management, and enterprise Microsoft environments will be highly valued.

Knowledge of PowerShell, automation, cloud security principles, and frameworks such as NIST or COBIT is a plus. Previous experience in regulated environments, particularly within financial services, would be advantageous.

Strong communication skills in both Italian and English are essential, as English is used daily in both written and spoken communication.

This position is 100% onsite in Bellinzona, with no remote or hybrid working option available.
