Nicoll Curtin is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to own the Microsoft 365 and Modern Workplace environment for a Swiss client. You will ensure service stability and support cloud transformation initiatives.

You will coordinate incidents, changes, and SLA governance, liaise with vendors and project teams, and apply ITIL practices to improve operational excellence.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Cloud in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Modern Workplace technologies and cloud services.
• Experience in ITIL-based service management environments.
• Fluent in Italian and English.

Our client is looking for a Cloud Engineer to take ownership of operational excellence across Microsoft 365 and cloud-based workplace services. As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will:

Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of Microsoft 365, Modern Workplace, and related cloud services, ensuring stability, performance, and service continuity.

Coordinate and drive incident, problem, change, and request management activities, validating technical changes and contributing to ongoing service improvements.

Act as the primary operational liaison with external suppliers and technology partners, managing escalations, service reviews, and SLA governance.

Support medium-sized IT projects throughout the design, validation, and transition-to-production phases.

Requirements:

At least 4 years of hands‑on experience managing and operating Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Cloud environments within enterprise Windows infrastructures.

Strong knowledge of Modern Workplace technologies and cloud‑based services

Practical experience working within ITIL‑based service management environments

Fluent in Italian and English
