Nicoll Curtin is seeking an Enterprise Cloud Security Engineer to secure and continuously improve a large-scale Azure environment. You will work with platform, infrastructure, and security teams to implement security controls, architecture, and governance across the cloud platform.

The role requires hands-on security engineering, familiarity with IaC, Terraform, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes, plus knowledge of NIST/ISO standards.

What happens when a modern enterprise cloud platform needs to stay secure, resilient, and ready for the demands of a highly available business environment?

You make sure security is built in from day one.

As an Enterprise Cloud Security Engineer, you'll help secure and continuously improve a large-scale Azure environment, working closely with platform, infrastructure, and security teams. You'll be involved in security architecture, risk assessments, cloud governance, and the implementation of practical security controls across the cloud platform.

You'll get hands-on with Azure security services, Microsoft Entra ID, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes. From implementing security measures and identifying risks to hardening cloud environments and defining security standards, you'll play a key role in strengthening the overall security posture of the platform.

We're looking for someone with solid Azure experience in enterprise environments and a pragmatic, hands‑on approach to security engineering. Whether your background is in cloud security, infrastructure security, platform security, or security operations, what matters most is your ability to apply security principles in practice and work closely with engineering teams.

Experience with frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001/27002, MITRE ATT&CK, CIS Controls, or certifications from ISC² is highly valued. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, automation, cloud hardening, and modern cloud security practices will help you succeed in the role.

Strong communication skills in both German and English are essential, as you'll collaborate with a variety of technical and business stakeholders across the organisation.
