avacone Switzerland seeks a Microsoft 365 Engineer to operate, secure, and continuously improve its Microsoft 365 environment in Basel. You will collaborate with infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver reliable collaboration and productivity services.

The role scope includes service administration, automation, security, and workplace modernisation, with opportunities to contribute across multiple facets of the M365 stack and governance.

Qualifikationen

• Practical experience administering Microsoft 365 services in an enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with Entra ID, authentication, and access management.
• Understanding of licensing and user lifecycle management.
• PowerShell scripting and administrative automation experience.
• Security fundamentals including MFA, least privilege, and data protection.

Aufgaben

• Administer and optimise Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
• Manage user identities, groups, licences, and access in collaboration with identity and security teams.
• Support identity integration with Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory, including hybrid environments.
• Maintain mail flow, shared mailboxes, distribution groups, and email security configurations.
• Configure and support collaboration services, external sharing, and guest access.
• Implement and maintain security and compliance policies in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor service health, troubleshoot incidents, and coordinate escalations with Microsoft support.
• Automate administrative tasks and reporting using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph.
• Contribute to migrations, service enhancements, and the rollout of new Microsoft 365 capabilities.
• Assess service changes and coordinate testing, communication, and implementation.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and configuration standards.
• Support service desk teams and promote effective adoption of Microsoft 365 services.
