Job summary

Audi Revolut F1 Team in Hinwil, Switzerland, is seeking a skilled Metrology Specialist to inspect and measure composite components along the production chain. You will develop measurement programs, create inspection reports, and document deviations from drawings.

Experience with 3D measuring arms and PolyWorks is essential. Fluency in German or English with willingness to learn the other language, and the ability to work in a two-shift operation, are required.

Qualifications

• Completed technical apprenticeship or equivalent; several years in Quality Assurance/metrology.
• Hands-on experience with 3D measuring arms and strong PolyWorks knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of handheld measuring instruments.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings including ISO GPS 8015.
• Independent, structured, solution‑oriented; can handle complex measurement tasks.
• Strong quality mindset, attention to detail, and reliability.
• Willingness to work in a two‑shift operation.
• Fluent German or English; willing to learn the other language.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and measure composite components and related tooling across production.
• Prepare measurements, develop measurement programs, and create inspection reports.
• Identify and document deviations from specified drawings.
• Record and process quality-related non-conformities in the QM system.
• Collaborate with Production Engineering, Design, and Production on metrology tasks.
• Provide metrology support to various departments and on drawing requirements.
