imperix SA in Sion invites a Mechanical Engineer to join our design and integration team. You will become our mechanical specialist, bridging enclosure design with electrical systems, from concept through prototyping and manufacturing.

You will lead SolidWorks modeling, design sheet metal housings, coordinate prototype production, and work with engineers on high‑voltage and thermal management. A hands‑on mindset and degree in mechanical engineering are required.

Qualifikationen

• Education: BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Seniority: Junior (0-3 years) with hands-on CAD and prototyping experience.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• English: good command, both written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Lead 3D mechanical modeling and technical drafting in SolidWorks for enclosures and cabinet integrations.
• Design custom sheet metal housings and internal mounting/busbar structures.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers on high-voltage system design, insulation, shielding and thermal management.
• Produce manufacturing packages, 2D drawings, assembly instructions and BOMs.
• Coordinate prototype manufacturing and manage suppliers for mechanical projects.
• Build, assemble and test mechanical prototypes in the workshop.
