Sécheron Hasler Group in Geneva is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical R&D Engineer to design robust, manufacturable solutions for railway and power electronics systems.

You will transform advanced concepts into practical designs, collaborate with across departments, and contribute to innovation while ensuring cost-effective and reliable products. The role requires strong multi-physics understanding and hands-on experimentation in a dynamic, quality-focused environment.

Qualifikationen

• Master/PhD of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Microtechnics or Mechatronics/similar.
• Tolerance management, Robust Design, Design-to-Cost, Finite Element Analysis (Solidworks, Comsol, Ansys).
• Development of complex systems involving different technologies (in particular electrical, mechanical, magnetic).
• Implementation of robust design into industrial products.
• Key player in inventing advanced concepts and solving critical issues.
• Broad knowledge of machining capabilities and material (plastics/thermoset).
• English (must), French and/or German (wish).
• Geometrical Product Specifications (ISO Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), Tolerance Management (with application in SolidWorks).
• Functional Analysis, FMEA.
• Electrical engineering fundamentals/Power electronics.
