DPhi Space Sarl in Switzerland is seeking motivated electrical engineering interns to join the team for a six-month, on-site assignment. You will work on PCB design for power and digital communications, develop test systems, and perform subsystem and RF analyses in a space-focused setting.
The role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability to evolving constraints, and an interest in space applications. Fluency in English is required; French is an asset, and there is potential for a permanent position
DPhi Space is a Swiss startup building the intelligence infrastructure in space by turning satellites into inference servers and connecting space to the cloud on Earth.
The team launched a first demonstrator into space in March 2025 followed by the second one in March 2026. The company is on a track to continue the yearly launch cycle with the next system planned to launch in 2027.
For this mission, we are looking for motivated engineers to join the company.
Together with our team you will perform some of the following tasks according to your preferences and skills.
PCB design for power and digital communication for space and ground applications.
Design test systems and perform subsystem tests.
High-speed signal integrity analysis.
Electrical system design for power and communication interfaces for space and ground applications.
Design, assemble, rework, and test PCB and system prototypes.
Electrical and product system definition, design, analysis, test, and validation. Prototyping and early design validation through experiments.
RF analysis and system design.
Ongoing or recently graduated Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a university or HES/ES.
The ability to work in a team.
Interest in space applications.
Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work with evolving constraints.
Language: Fluency in English is a must, French is an asset.
Technical skills depend on the exact scope of the internship.
Previous experience (projects, student teams, internships) in aerospace, robotics, or hardware development is a strong plus, but not strictly required.
