United Machining in Losone, TI, is seeking a Mechanical Designer to create technical documentation for EDM components and assemblies, including 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs. You will design sheet metal panels supporting a senior engineer and ensuring manufacturability and cost efficiency.

Collaborating with R&D, Production, Purchasing, and Testing, you will contribute to product innovation while researching new components for industrialization.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience documenting parts and assemblies.
• Proficiency in Solid Edge for 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Familiarity with ISO GPS drawing standards.
• Italian/C1 and English/B2 language skills.

Aufgaben

• Develop technical documentation for EDM machine components and assemblies (3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs).
• Design sheet metal panels and components with manufacturability and cost in mind.
• Suggest improvements to reliability, safety, and ergonomics while reducing costs.
• Work with R&D, Production, Purchasing, and Testing across the product lifecycle.
• Research new mechanical components and liaise with suppliers for industrialization.
