Zusammenfassung

Climeworks is seeking an engineering designer to join our Zürich/Opfikon team and drive the development of next‑generation Direct Air Capturing products. You will create and optimize CAD models and 2D drawings, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and contribute across the full product lifecycle from concept to production.

• You collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams and contribute to the successful execution of design projects.
• You create and optimize product designs, utilizing CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) to create 3D parts, component assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings.
• You provide and maintain accurate design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and bills of materials, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
• You support the fabrication and testing of prototypes and conduct basic tests and experiments to validate design concepts and troubleshoot issues.
• You present in design reviews and participate in quality assurance processes and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis to ensure the continuous improvement of the product.
