Metso Corporation in Baden (CH) is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on integrating products into customer-specific solutions, including 3D models, BOMs, drawings and specifications, with emphasis on high quality and timely delivery.

You will collaborate with project management and service, contribute to R&D projects, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and norms. Proficiency in German and English is required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar.
• Several years of experience with 3D CAD / PDM (Inventor/Vault).
• Manufacturing and assembly experience with mechanical components.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English.

Aufgaben

• Constructive integration of existing products into a customer-specific solution with 3D models, parts lists, drawings and specifications.
• Constructive implementation of product-specific optimizations (product maintenance).
• Integration and documentation review of auxiliary systems (purchased parts) such as gearboxes, lubrication units, valves, tools, etc. from suppliers.
• Independent planning and execution of projects with a focus on high-quality results, on-time delivery, and high customer satisfaction within the expected budget.
• Close collaboration with internal interfaces such as project management and service.
• Actively participate in R&D projects.
• Compliance with standards and norms.

Who you are
