Zusammenfassung

Job-Room is seeking a Process Engineer II (m/f/d) for its Le Locle site in Neuchatel (NE). The role is a permanent position focusing on developing and validating manufacturing processes in a regulated environment.

You will lead process improvements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to cost control, quality, and throughput enhancements in a global manufacturing setting.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• Proven experience in manufacturing engineering and process validation.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, and GMP is a plus.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical, and documentation skills.

Aufgaben

• Develop stable and capable manufacturing processes through a structured process development approach.
• Manage costs through scrap, reprocessing and consumable projects.
• Design & develop tools, fixtures, gauges and equipment with Technicians and external vendors.
• Plan, execute, and document IQ/OQ/PQ validation activities.
• Analyze and optimize manufacturing workflows to improve quality, efficiency, and throughput.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure compliance with procedures and regulatory standards.
• Interface with cross-functional team members to support day-to-day operations and projects.
• Demonstrate leadership within the Engineering team.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop stable and capable manufacturing processes through a structured process development approach.
• Manage costs through the delivery of scrap, reprocessing and consumable projects.
• Design & develop tools, fixtures, gauges and special equipment for manufacturing operations in conjunction with Technicians and outside vendors.
• Plan, execute, and document process validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) to ensure robust and compliant manufacturing processes.
• Analyze and optimize manufacturing workflows to improve quality, efficiency, and throughput.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards.
• Actively interface with cross-functional team members, always practicing good team work in support of day to day operating and project requirements.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and a clear identifiable work ethos within the Engineering team.

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Education: Bachelor-s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven background in manufacturing engineering, process validation, or quality engineering. Experience in regulated industries (medical devices, pharmaceuticals, aerospace) is a plus.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of validation requirements (IQ/OQ/PQ), NC/CAPA processes, and regulatory standards (ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, GMP).
• Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation abilities.
• Languages: Professional proficiency in English and French (written and spoken).
