Zusammenfassung

Gunvor Group in Switzerland seeks a Barge & Vessel Trading Operator to drive end-to-end operational execution of physical commodity transactions across marine and inland logistics chains. You will coordinate Trading, Chartering, Shipping, Finance, Risk, suppliers, customers, terminals and service providers to ensure safe, timely and compliant execution.

Qualifikationen

Degree or professional qualification in maritime studies, logistics or related discipline is advantageous.
Experience in commodity trading operations and logistics.
Fluent English, written and spoken.
Experience with vessel operations and terminal logistics preferred.

Aufgaben

Manage the operational lifecycle of physical commodity transactions from contract issuance through final settlement.
Coordinate cargo movements and operations across vessels, barges, terminals and storage facilities.
Monitor schedules, loading/discharge, inventory movements and voyage progress.
Identify operational risks and implement mitigations.
Maintain auditable trade and operational records.
Coordinate inspectors and surveys during loading and transfer operations.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
