Zusammenfassung

Sulzer is seeking a Machine Diagnostics Engineer (100%) in Switzerland to advance machine diagnostics for pump technology within the Flow division. You will manage projects and develop monitoring solutions, analyzing data from pumps and systems to improve reliability.

Ideal candidates have a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, 3–4 years’ experience in dynamics and diagnostics, hands-on data acquisition, and strong analytical skills. English fluency is required with German a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in machine dynamics, vibration and diagnostics.
• Hands-on experience with data acquisition systems and experimental campaigns.
• Solid understanding of rotating equipment; pump tech is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent Excel, MATLAB and LabVIEW skills.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Lead machine diagnostics projects for pump technology.
• Develop diagnostics and pump condition monitoring solutions.
• Analyze pump and system operation data.
• Perform vibration, acoustic, and dynamic measurements in testbeds.
• Support test bed activities with sensors and data acquisition.
• Conduct field vibration surveys on pumps; travel as needed.
