Join our team if you want to contribute to technology development and support in the field of experimental dynamics, vibration and modal analysis, acoustics, and related data analysis techniques.Your main tasks and responsibilities:Project management and project work on Machine Diagnostics projectsDevelopment of machinery diagnostic and pump condition monitoring solutionsAnalysis of pump and system operation dataVibration, acoustic and other dynamic measurements in the testbed, measurement data analysis and interpretationSupport test bed activities with experimental dynamics, sensor and data acquisition activitiesField vibration surveys and analysis on pumpsTravel to test facilities, customer sites or other locations can occasionally be requiredTo succeed in this role, you will need:Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldIdeally, 3-4 years of experience in machine dynamics, vibration and experimental modal analysis, acoustics, machinery diagnostics and condition monitoring, and data analysis techniquesHands-on experience in data acquisition systems, instrumentation and conducting experimental test campaignsSolid understanding of rotating equipment; experience with pump technology is a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in tools such as Excel, MATLAB, and LabViewTeam player with excellent communication and collaboration skillsFluent in English, German is a plusWhat we offer youAn innovative, vibrant and agile cultureExcellent social benefits (holidays, pension fund etc.)Access to a wide range of discounts on Everyday Shopping, Entertainment and LifestyleCentral workplace, only 5 minutes from Winterthur train stationSulzer is an equal opportunity employer.
