Sulzer in Switzerland seeks a Machine Diagnostics Engineer (100%) to strengthen the Flow division. You will lead machine diagnostics projects, develop pump condition monitoring solutions, and analyze operation data from pumps and systems.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and experience in vibration analysis, data acquisition, and experimental campaigns. Fluent English is required, German is a plus; occasional travel may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–4 years experience in machine dynamics, vibration, and diagnostics.
• Hands-on data acquisition and instrumentation experience.
• Solid understanding of rotating equipment; pump knowledge is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, MATLAB and LabVIEW.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Manage Machine Diagnostics projects.
• Develop diagnostic and pump condition monitoring solutions.
• Analyze pump and system operation data.
• Conduct vibration, acoustic measurements and data interpretation.
• Support test bed activities with dynamics and data acquisition.
• Perform field vibration surveys on pumps.
