ABB Switzerland is seeking a Testing & Laboratory Specialist to execute verification, validation, and compliance testing of LV three-phase power electronics products, including UPS systems and converters, in our R&D lab in Quartino, CH.

You will read schematics, operate oscilloscopes and power analyzers, analyze results, and document findings. The role requires independent work, strong problem-solving, and collaboration with international teams.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of laboratory testing, validation, or verification experience.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, power analyzers, DAQ systems, and measurement tools.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional, international teams.

Aufgaben

• Plan, set up, and execute verification, validation, and compliance testing of LV three-phase power electronics products.
• Perform functional testing and validation of hardware prototypes and embedded firmware.
• Analyze test results, investigate failures, and provide structured technical feedback.
• Maintain lab equipment, test infrastructure, and documentation, ensuring calibration compliance and safety.
