Zusammenfassung

SoTalent is seeking a Logistics & Procurement Specialist for our client in the industrial manufacturing sector. The role focuses on independently managing internal parts inventory, procurement activities and material flow required for production.

The ideal candidate will have strong SAP expertise, experience reading technical drawings, and the ability to translate production requirements into effective purchasing decisions. On-site work is required in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Completed education or professional qualification in Logistics, Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in a comparable role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience in inventory management and material supply.
• Excellent knowledge of SAP.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Solid purchasing and procurement experience.
• Experience managing suppliers and external purchasing partners.
• Strong understanding of production supply and material-flow processes.
• Excellent French skills, both written and spoken.
• Good English skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities.
• High level of independence and personal responsibility.
• Precise, structured and reliable working style.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and proactively resolve supply issues.

Aufgaben

• Manage the internal inventory of production parts and components.
• Monitor stock levels and identify replenishment requirements.
• Plan and execute procurement of materials and supplies according to production needs.
• Review production requirements and determine the components and materials required.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to identify appropriate parts and components.
• Create and maintain purchasing and inventory data within SAP.
• Place purchase orders with external suppliers and monitor them through to delivery.
• Follow up on supplier confirmations, lead times and delivery schedules.
• Manage supplier relationships and coordinate purchasing activities.
• Negotiate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, delivery timelines and purchasing conditions.
• Monitor material availability and proactively address potential supply issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory and purchasing records.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Logistics and Procurement teams to ensure uninterrupted material supply.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory levels, procurement processes and supplier performance.
• Ensure materials are available in line with production schedules and operational requirements.

An established organisation in the industrial manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced Logistics & Procurement Specialist to independently manage internal parts inventory, procurement activities and the flow of materials required for production.

The role combines inventory management, supply planning, purchasing, supplier management and logistics coordination, with close collaboration across Production, Logistics and Procurement.

This position is ideal for a structured and autonomous supply chain professional with strong SAP expertise and the ability to understand technical drawings and translate production requirements into effective purchasing and inventory decisions.
