Qualifikationen

• Higher education degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Business, Economics.
• Proven experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain management.
• Solid understanding of international supplier management, sourcing and logistics.
• Ability to identify supply chain vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies.
• Cross-functional projects with multiple departments and stakeholders.
• Experience with ERP systems and data accuracy/master data management.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and organizational skills.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Proactive, autonomous and able to thrive in international and fast-changing environments.

For our client, an international company active in the medical device industry, we are looking for a Strategic Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist for a temporary assignment based in Lausanne.

Your responsibilities

• Manage the procurement of components, equipment, materials and external services, from supplier identification through to contract negotiation and ongoing relationship management
• Define and implement purchasing strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives and international markets
• Identify, assess and develop a supplier portfolio capable of meeting quality, cost, delivery and performance requirements
• Establish alternative supply solutions to reduce dependency on single-source suppliers
• Anticipate potential supply chain disruptions and coordinate appropriate actions to minimize their impact
• Coordinate international supply flows and monitor inventory levels
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of methods, procedures and tools used to manage supply chain activities

Your profile

• Higher education degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Business, Economics or a related field
• Proven experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain management, ideally gained in an international industrial environment
• Solid understanding of international supplier management, sourcing and logistics
• Ability to identify supply chain vulnerabilities and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
• Comfortable working on cross-functional projects involving multiple departments and stakeholders
• Experience with ERP systems and a strong understanding of data accuracy and master data management
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and organizational skills
