PSA BDP Switzerland GmbH, Basel, is seeking a Logistics Operations Coordinator (m/f/d) to own shipments from order to invoicing. You will coordinate end-to-end logistics, monitor transport orders, and act as the main contact for customers, carriers, and internal teams.

With 3+ years in international logistics, you will ensure on-time execution, compliance with Incoterms and DG rules, and proactive shipment updates. A base in Basel with flexible hours and competitive remuneration awaits.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in international logistics operations, freight forwarding, or supply chain coordination.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with TMS/ERP platforms.
• Strong understanding of Incoterms, customs procedures, and DG awareness.

Logistics Operations Coordinator (m/f/d) for our Basel office:

As a Logistics Operations Coordinator, you will take ownership of logistics shipments from order placement through to final delivery and invoicing, ensuring a seamless customer experience throughout the entire transport process.

In this role, you will:

• Coordinate and manage end-to-end logistics shipments, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
• Plan, book, and monitor transport orders, including proactive tracking and tracing of shipments.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, carriers, overseas offices, customs partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Build strong customer relationships by providing proactive shipment updates and responding to operational enquiries.
• Coordinate closely with internal operations teams and external service providers to ensure smooth and efficient logistics processes.
• Monitor shipment performance, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to meet agreed service levels and KPIs.
• Resolve operational challenges and customer complaints through effective problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, company procedures, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
• Prepare shipment-related documentation and support accurate invoicing and financial completion of shipments.
• Identify opportunities to optimize workflows, improve operational efficiency, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate operational data and support reporting activities to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Your profile:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in international logistics operations, freight forwarding, or supply chain coordination.
• Good understanding of Incoterms®, customs procedures, trade compliance requirements, and dangerous goods (DG) awareness.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience working with Transport Management Systems (TMS), ERP solutions, and digital logistics platforms.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end transport operations across international logistics networks.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build effective relationships with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
• High level of accuracy, accountability, and attention to detail, with a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
