Zusammenfassung

GI Life Sciences, part of Gi Group, is seeking a Logistic Specialist in Visp for a temporary position to lead all logistics activities in collaboration with the Process Engineer Supervisor and act as the main contact for the logistics area.

You will ensure continuous supply to production, ensure regulatory compliance (EHS, xGMP, GDP, ISO 9001), manage documentation, lead the logistics team, and conduct regular shop floor checks.

Qualifikationen

• Completed education or training in logistics, supply chain, or the pharmaceutical industry.
• Several years of professional experience within the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong personal commitment, a high sense of responsibility, and the ability to work independently and conscientiously.
• Good knowledge of SAP (MM, SD, FI, and Ariba modules).

Aufgaben

• Lead all logistics activities in collaboration with the Process Engineer Supervisor and act as the main point of contact for the logistics area.
• Ensure the continuous supply of materials to production facilities in order to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and applicable standards (EHS, xGMP, GDP, ISO 9001).
• Perform administrative tasks, including the preparation and maintenance of work instructions.
• Lead, evaluate, coach, and develop the logistics team, organize training sessions, and monitor the quality of completed work.
• Conduct regular shop floor inspections and participate in GEMBA walks.
• Set priorities and allocate resources to ensure deadlines and operational targets are met.
• Support and actively participate in day-to-day operational activities within the department.
• Ensure that all team members comply with safety requirements and GMP standards.
• Present and enforce operational procedures and standard processes during project kick-off meetings with customers and project managers.
• Ensure proper archiving of all relevant documentation to guarantee full traceability of activities.
