Accelleron Schweiz AG is seeking a Local Hosting Service Owner (m/f/d) to ensure reliable, secure and cost-efficient hosting across its Swiss locations. You will own on‑premises hosting, including servers, virtualization, storage, HPC and data center infrastructure, and ensure stable operations aligned with business needs.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Extensive on-prem hosting, virtualization, storage and data center expertise.
• Experience as a Service Owner or managing infrastructure with SLAs/KPIs.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, risk, DR and business continuity.
• IT service operations, incident management, and vendor management experience.
• Budgeting, cost management and procurement experience; SAP knowledge helpful.
• Automation and standardization for hosting.
• Experience in manufacturing/engineering environments is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management.
• Fluent German and good English (min B2).

As a Local Hosting Service Owner (m/f/d), you are responsible for the reliable, secure, and cost‑efficient delivery of local hosting and infrastructure services across Accelleron’s locations in Switzerland.

You take end‑to‑end ownership of on‑premises hosting environments, including servers, virtualization, storage, dedicated High‑Performance Computing (HPC) environments, and local data center infrastructure, ensuring stable operations, continuous improvement, service quality, and alignment with business needs.

Acting as the key interface between factory IT, global Infrastructure and Cybersecurity teams, service providers, and external partners, you ensure local requirements, enterprise standards, security policies, and strategic technology initiatives are effectively aligned and implemented. You manage changes, risks, compliance, service performance, resilience, and operational excellence through effective governance and stakeholder collaboration.

The role combines operational service ownership (RUN) with active contribution to infrastructure projects and modernization initiatives (BUILD), supporting factory growth, engineering and simulation environments, business continuity, lifecycle management, and long‑term infrastructure strategy from solution design through operational handover.

Your Responsibilities:

Service Ownership & Operations (RUN)Own and continuously improve local hosting services, including servers, virtualization, storage, HPC environments, and data center infrastructure across Accelleron’s Swiss locations.Ensure stable, secure, resilient, and SLA‑driven operations for business‑critical factory and engineering environments.Act as technical authority for local hosting platforms, including capacity planning, infrastructure standards, and service governance.Manage incidents, problem resolution, root‑cause analyses, escalations, and operational risks.Ensure compliance with security, cybersecurity, regulatory, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity requirements.Serve as the primary interface between local factory operations, global Infrastructure and Cybersecurity teams, and service providers.

Lifecycle, Documentation & GovernanceDefine and maintain lifecycle, capacity, refresh, and modernization roadmaps for hosting services.Maintain infrastructure, asset, and operational documentation.Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, standardization, automation, and governance.Coordinate budgeting, purchasing, vendor governance, and service reviews with internal and external stakeholders.

Vendor, Contract & Cost ManagementManage service providers, contracts, budgets, forecasts, and operational costs.Monitor and improve service delivery through SLA/KPI governance, escalation management, and performance reviews.Ensure effective collaboration between local service providers and global IT teams.

Project & Initiative Contribution (BUILD)Support and lead hosting‑related projects from solution design through implementation and operational handover.Lead and/or contribute to factory, infrastructure, modernization, and site expansion initiatives.Coordinate with infrastructure, network, application, cybersecurity, and external partner teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.Drive automation, standardization, resiliency, and operational excellence across the hosting landscape.

Your Background & Skills:

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a comparable technical field.Strong expertise in on‑premises hosting, virtualization, storage, and data center technologies.Experience as a Service Owner or in managing infrastructure services with responsibility for SLAs, KPIs, service governance, and continuous improvement.Understanding of cybersecurity, compliance, risk management, disaster recovery, and business continuity.Experience in IT service operations, incident management, and vendor management; ITSM knowledge is an advantage.Experience in budget planning, cost management, and enterprise procurement processes; SAP knowledge is beneficial.Experience with infrastructure standardization, automation, and operational excellence initiatives.Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, or other business‑critical operational environments is a strong advantage.Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Experience working in a global IT environment with international teams and service providers.Fluent German and good English (minimum B2).High ownership, reliability, and willingness to support sites across Switzerland.
