You will guide Production Specialists and Cell Leaders as a technical leader, refining processes and costs while ensuring customer expectations are met.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable engineering discipline — or equivalent hands-on engineering experience
• Familiarity with multiple gas turbine platforms (e.g., GE 7F, 9F, LM2500 or equivalent)
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with production teams, sharing technical knowledge to achieve shared operational goals
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)

• Work with the Product Owners to define and improve product/process qualifications in repair.
• Analyze problems, in process inspections, internal corrective actions, as necessary, to improve overall quality systems and scrap control.
• Support Root Cause Analysis RCA's & Corrective and Preventive Action CAPA plans for external defects.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable engineering discipline — or equivalent hands‑on engineering experience

• Familiarity with multiple gas turbine platforms (e.g., GE 7F, 9F, LM2500 or equivalent)

• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with production teams, sharing technical knowledge to achieve shared operational goals

• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)

Preferred

• Familiarity with special process requirements (e.g., coatings, welding, heat treatment) relevant to gas turbine components. Working knowledge of Lean methodologies and proven track record of applying Lean principles in a manufacturing or production environment

• Experience developing or qualifying repair procedures in an aerospace, power generation, or industrial gas turbine context.

• Demonstrated ability to identify process gaps and propose structured improvement solutions

• Ability to translate customer requirements into actionable production or process outcomes
