Reporting directly to the Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) for Continental Europe, this role offers a unique opportunity to lay the groundwork for a central function that supports portfolio monitoring and sustainable profitability across Sompo’s commercial insurance operations in Continental Europe. As a foundational member of the CUO Office, you will play a pivotal role in shaping its capabilities, focusing on building robust analytical frameworks and performance monitoring tools from the ground up. This hands-on position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives on creating structure and driving meaningful change. While business decisions will remain the responsibility of underwriters, you will serve as a critical voice in influencing underwriting strategies and supporting data-driven decision-making processes.
