EPAM Systems in Geneva, Switzerland, is seeking an OMS Lead Engineer to drive the technical delivery of a Fluent Commerce OMS in a hybrid work setup. You will lead a distributed team, architect and implement backend capabilities, and ensure high-quality deliveries across AWS and Kubernetes-based environments.

The role requires strong Java backend skills with Spring Boot and WebFlux, plus hands-on experience with Fluent Commerce and OMS design patterns.

Qualifications

• Experience as Technical Lead or Senior Backend Engineer in Order Management Systems (Fluent Commerce OMS preferred).
• Strong Java backend development with Spring Boot and WebFlux.
• Hands-on cloud experience, ideally AWS, and CI/CD with GitLab.
• Understanding of distributed order management, inventory visibility and order orchestration.
• Experience integrating third-party SaaS solutions and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Commercetools).
• Fluent English; French is a strong advantage.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of OMS/Java developers, providing technical guidance and delivery oversight.
• Apply Fluent Commerce/Fluent OMS expertise to design, develop and resolve issues.
• Contribute as a backend engineer to enhance OMS capabilities and ensure scalable solutions.
• Create and review technical specifications and user stories.
• Support backlog refinement and ensure development readiness of requirements.
• Oversee unit test automation and release preparation for deployments.
