Job summary

EPAM Systems is looking for an Application Engineer to join our Lausanne team onsite. You will develop and maintain critical applications supporting scheduling, dispatch, risk management and compliance processes, directly boosting operational efficiency.

You will lead requirements, collaborate with PMs and developers, ensure regulatory adherence, and drive continuous delivery of valuable features in a regulated, cloud-minded environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in eliciting and specifying complex business requirements.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (GDPR, NIS2, REMIT).
• Hands-on exposure as a Product Owner or Proxy PO in an agile environment.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Forms, Python and C#.
• Excellent analytical skills to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Solid background in backlog refinement and risk assessment.
• Effective communication and client-facing skills to engage multiple stakeholders.
• Nice to have knowledge of system integration techniques and performance tuning.
• Previous experience in regulated environments.
• Exposure to cloud-native technologies or DevOps practices.
