Job summary

Albedis SA is seeking a Lead Internal Auditor to independently plan and execute audits across financial crime, business conduct, and regulatory topics. You will manage end-to-end audits, report with actionable recommendations, and serve as a sparring partner for senior management.

You will also oversee selected international locations, conducting annual risk assessments and contributing to proactive risk mitigation in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Completed banking education or a higher business degree.
• Professional qualifications such as CIA, CFA or equivalent preferred.
• Several years' hands-on experience as a Lead Auditor in banking or financial services.
• Ability to operate independently in complex, international environments.
• Willingness to travel internationally (≈30 days/year) and work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and conclude end-to-end audits across risk areas.
• Prepare concise audit reports with actionable recommendations.
• Act as sparring partner to management for risk discussions.
• Monitor remediation actions and closure of findings.
• Lead designated international locations and annual risk assessments.
• Contribute to special investigations and risk projects.
• Prepare materials for senior decision-makers and governing bodies.
