Job summary

Bank J. Safra Sarasin AG seeks a Lead Auditor to cover diverse risk topics, including financial crime and business conduct. You will plan and deliver audits end-to-end, engage stakeholders at all levels, and own selected international locations for risk assessment and response.

The role requires 5+ years in banking audits, excellent MS Office skills, and fluency in English, with French or Spanish a plus. Travel about 30 days/year. Based in Basel, Switzerland.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Lead Auditor in banking audit
• Experience with risk topics including financial crime and business conduct
• Excellent MS Office skills; Avaloq is an advantage
• Fluent English; knowledge of French or Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end audits from scoping to reporting
• Draft clear, impactful audit reports
• Act as sparring partner for management
• Monitor implementation of audit measures
• Prepare statements for Head of Group Internal Audit or Board
• Oversee locations Panama and Bahamas (annual risk assessment, planning, contact)
• Participate in special investigations and projects
• Serve as a Subject Expert
