Job summary

System Recruitment Specialists is seeking a Senior/Lead Auditor for our Basel-based team in a permanent role. You will own the full audit lifecycle, act as sparring partner for management, and ensure timely, high-quality audit outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years as a Lead Auditor in banking audits, strong analytical and communication skills, and familiarity with Swiss regulatory requirements. Travel ~30 days/year and English fluency required; German/French/Spanish advantageous.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a Lead Auditor in banking audit.
• Fluency in English with clear, impactful writing; knowledge of German, French, or Spanish is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of Swiss regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit planning, execution and communication of results.
• Oversee the full audit lifecycle from engagement planning to reporting.
• Draft clear and impactful audit reports for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with management and challenge stakeholders at all levels.
• Ensure timely implementation and monitoring of corrective actions.
• Prepare statements for Head of Group Internal Audit, Board, or decision-makers.
• Participate in investigations and projects.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert.
