Job summary

Flexis AG in Basel seeks a Lead Internal Auditor to independently plan and execute audits across financial crime, business conduct and regulatory topics. You will manage audits from scoping to reporting and act as a sparring partner for senior management.

You will take responsibility for designated international locations, travel approximately 30 days per year, and contribute to proactive risk mitigation. A banking education or higher business degree plus CIA/CFA or equivalent is expected, with

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on Lead Auditor experience in banking/financial services.
• Experience leading internal or external audits in a regulated environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English; ability to produce clear reports.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and conclude end-to-end audits independently.
• Prepare concise audit reports with actionable recommendations.
• Act as sparring partner to management and support risk discussions.
• Monitor remediation actions and track progress.
• Prepare briefing materials for senior decision-makers.
