Job summary

Qualifications

• 6+ years of commissioning/start-up/operations experience in power, oil & gas, or heavy industry
• At least 3 years in a leadership role managing commissioning teams
• Proven ability to develop and implement commissioning strategies and procedures
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Commissioning Engineers, provide technical expertise, coaching and performance management
• Develop and approve detailed commissioning plans, procedures and schedules aligned with project requirements and safety standards
• Oversee all commissioning phases, including pre-commissioning checks, functional testing, and performance verification
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, tender/sales teams, and clients to ensure seamless execution
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues during commissioning, implementing corrective actions and optimizing system performance
• Allocate personnel, equipment, and materials effectively to meet deadlines and budget targets
• Uphold safety protocols, quality standards, and environmental regulations throughout the process
