NEVESO in Lausanne seeks a Lab Automation Project Manager to plan, coordinate and deliver automation and robotics programs from concept to deployment. You will lead multispecialist teams, align scientific needs with technical requirements, and ensure robust, scalable platform architectures.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, automation, robotics, digital technologies or equivalent.
• Hands-on expertise with automation systems and/or industrial machines, including specification, programming, integration and troubleshooting.
• Proven project management skills, including planning, stakeholder management, risk and change management, and delivery of complex technical projects.
• Ability to translate scientific and operational needs into technical requirements and system architectures for laboratory automation and robotics.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills with emphasis on reliability and safety.
• Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in laboratory environments, robotics integration, or life sciences facilities is an advantage.
• Natural leadership and the ability to federate multidisciplinary teams.
• Rigorous, autonomous, organized and pragmatic.
• Fluency in English and French

Aufgaben

• Lead laboratory automation projects, upgrades and continuous-improvement initiatives from requirements through operational handover.
• Define scope, deliverables, milestones, resources and implementation plans.
• Manage schedules, risks, issues, decisions and quality, cost and delivery objectives.
• Coordinate scientists, digital and engineering teams, and external suppliers.
• Translate scientific and operational needs into clear technical requirements.
• Maintain an end-to-end view of the platform architecture and its equipment, robotics, software and digital interfaces.
• Review and challenge supplier solutions, quotations, interventions and deliveries.
• Coordinate integration, testing, troubleshooting, documentation and change management.
• Communicate project status, risks and decisions to project teams and management.
• Support robust, maintainable and sustainable platform operations.
