Job summary

Xapply is seeking a Junior System Administrator (Monitoring Team) in Switzerland. You will maintain health and reliability of infrastructure with a focus on monitoring, respond to alerts, investigate issues using Grafana, Zabbix, Linux and Windows environments, and participate in incident response with a distributed international team in a remote-first setup.

On onboarding, you will take ownership of primary duty shifts and deepen your monitoring expertise within a structured, global team.

As a Junior System Administrator, you’ll help maintain the health and reliability of products and infrastructure in a monitoring-focused operational environment. You’ll respond to a high volume of alerts, investigate issues using monitoring tools, and resolve or escape incidents according to established procedures. The role offers hands‑on exposure to Linux and Windows environments, as well as monitoring platforms such as Grafana and Zabbix. You’ll work alongside primary and senior duty administrators and contribute to incident response when critical issues arise. After onboarding, you’ll take ownership of primary duty shifts while collaborating with a distributed international team.
