UBS Group AG is seeking a Crypto & eFX Trader within the Global Markets Derivatives & Solutions team in Zurich. You’ll price and hedge crypto, FX, precious metals and NDFs via electronic channels and supervise weekend risk and workflows for the Digital Asset offering in Switzerland.

The role demands prior DA native experience or eFX trading desk exposure, strong data analysis and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with sales, quant trading and support teams to improve system

Responsabilidades

• Be at the forefront of UBS entering the Digital Asset space.

• Coordinate resolution of infrequent outages with Global Service Delivery and support.

• Work with stakeholders to develop future product requirements and design specifications for the DA offering.

• Manage risks of electronic market making in FX, Precious Metals, and NDFs.

Key Responsibilities

Do your analytic and interpersonal skills help you understand complex systems? Are you someone who is savvy about managing risk? Have you got experience in trading Crypto or managing Digital Asset Workflows? We are looking for someone like you to:

• be at the forefront of UBS entering the Digital Asset space
• be responsible for managing the risk and workflows of our 24/7 Digital Asset offering in Switzerland on weekends
• coordinate the resolution of infrequent system outages by collaborating with our Global Service Delivery and support functions
• work with a variety of stakeholders, including clients and technology, to develop future product requirements and detailed design specifications for our DA offering
• get exposure to managing the risks we take as a result of making markets electronically to clients in FX, Precious Metals (cash & EFPs) and non-deliverable Forwards
• price and hedge, although typically done by algorithm, sometimes human intervention is required during system outages or extreme market events
• help fine tune the complex system and work across the business with other teams such as sales, quant trading and support to improve system performance
• work with our Sales team to identify opportunities to improve UBS market footprint further, join them in client meetings / calls to gather relevant information
• work with Quant Traders and Quant Development teams on pricing, hedging and other system enhancement
• develop a strong understanding about FX market microstructure and the exchange side products,
• develop and follow regulations, compliance policies, desk policies, limits, and guidelines

The team

You'll be working as part of the Global Markets Derivatives & Solutions team in Zurich. As an Crypto & eFX Trader, we price and hedge Crypto, FX, Precious Metals and NDFs via electronic channels.

Your Skills And Experience

• as prior experience in working either for a DA native company or on an eFX Trading desk
• relevant understanding of the DA landscape and its relevant market participants
• comfortable with working on Weekends
• knowledge of settlement procedures around digital assets
• a self-starter, reliable and passionate about the client experience
• able to cope under pressure and comfortable working independently, as well as in a collaborative environment
• responsible and conscious of risks; curious and able to challenge status quo
• able to build strong client networks, with an entrepreneurial mind-set
• excellent communication skills
• comfortable in analyzing large data sets using various data visualization tools
• knowledge of/interest in Electronic Trading
• Knowledge/experience of applications such as Python, Jupiterhub, mathlab, q, kx systems etc
• you're curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment - validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use
