UBS in Zürich invites graduates to join its 18-month Global Graduate Talent Program focused on software engineering and Java development. You’ll work on trading connectivity platforms, participate in rotations, and learn AI-assisted engineering practices.

We look for freshly graduated candidates with a CS/SE degree, strong Java skills, and an interest in finance. The program offers hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to global teams across UBS.

Qualifikationen

• eagerness to learn and grow in an Agile environment
• Interest in AI-assisted development and modern engineering practices
• has a competitive minimum GPA of 4.5 according to the Swiss grading system

In This Role, You Will

• contribute to the development and maintenance of our trading connectivity platform, primarily using Java
• work closely with Software Engineers, Test Engineers, and Product Owners to deliver business requirements

Grow your understanding of financial markets, trading workflows, and industry-standard protocols such as FIX and SWIFT

Your team

Our team develops and maintains TCP/IP connectivity solutions linking clients, market venues, and internal trading platforms. These interfaces support 24/6 electronic trading across Equities, Fixed Income, ETFs, Derivatives, Structured Products, and more.

The platform is used globally across UBS and by external institutional clients. Our team operates from Switzerland, Pune, and Singapore, offering a truly international and collaborative environment.

We are also at the forefront of AI-assisted software engineering, continuously exploring how AI can improve the way we design, build, test, and operate software.

Your expertise

We’re Looking For a Candidate Who

• is a recent graduate (graduated in the last 24 months)
• has fully completed their degree and met all graduation requirements by the program start date

has completed their bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in a MINT topic.
