Job summary

UBS in Zürich, Switzerland, seeks an Investment Banking Analyst to join the Swiss Mid-Market team. You will work on the origination and execution of high-profile mandates, supporting process coordination and stakeholder interactions, and helping develop marketing materials and analyses.

You will contribute to the team’s financial modelling, valuation work, and conduct research on markets and companies to support strategic financing and M&A activities.

Qualifications

• in-depth financial analysis skills, with the ability to produce accurate presentation material quickly
• solid corporate finance knowledge of accounting and valuation techniques
• an excellent academic track-record and strong communication skills in English and German; French is a plus
• 1 - 3 years of experience in Investment Banking / M&A
• You're curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment - validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standard and ethical use.

We're looking for an Investment Banking Analyst to join our Mid-Market team to:

• work as part of a deal team on the origination and execution of high-profile mandates
• support on process coordination and interactions with various stakeholders
• work on marketing materials and various analyses
• contribute to the team’s financial modelling and valuation exercises
• conduct research activities including market and company analysis

The team

You'll be working in Zürich, Switzerland in our Global Banking business (part of the Investment Bank), within our Swiss Mid-Market Investment Banking team. We advise Swiss mid-sized corporations, entrepreneurs and private equity funds on their strategic development and financing activities, including M&A, debt and capital raisings as well as leveraged buyouts.
