Job summary

Gi Life Sciences in Visp, Switzerland, is seeking a Junior Biotechnology Production Operator for a temporary assignment in a demanding biopharma environment. You will join a production team, execute manufacturing steps, ensure traceability and cGMP compliance, and support safety and quality procedures.

The role requires a chemistry/biotech background, some pharma manufacturing exposure, and English proficiency, with German as a strong asset. A 4-shift rotation schedule applies.

Qualifications

• Education in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biopharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing or similar roles.
• GMP/cGMP environment familiarity.
• Professional English; German is an asset.
• Willingness to work a 4-shift rotation schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform production operations per procedures and cGMP standards.
• Participate in biopharmaceutical manufacturing activities.
• Identify, analyze, and report deviations or anomalies in production.
• Execute production steps, perform calculations, and complete records.
• Ensure accuracy of production records and data compliance.
• Follow Health, Safety and Environment and quality requirements.
• Assist onboarding and training of new team members when needed.
