Job summary

Saunders Scott in Geneva, Switzerland seeks an IT Support & Systems Consultant (L1/L2 with L3 autonomy) for 80–100% full-time coverage during IT/IS Manager transitions and team vacations.

You will provide on-site and remote user support, troubleshoot across Windows 11, macOS, and virtualization platforms, manage user access, and participate in server/storage/network administration with L3 autonomy. Documentation and knowledge base updates are also required.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Windows 11 and macOS.
• Experience with virtualization technologies including Nutanix and VMware.
• Administer on-premises Microsoft Exchange.
• Knowledge of Fortinet and Cisco networking and security.
• MDM experience with VMware AirWatch Workspace ONE.

Responsibilities

- Context: Operational continuity during IT/IS Manager transition and team vacation periods.

Key Responsibilities

1. User Support & Endpoint Management (L1/L2)

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for end users.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues across Windows 11 and macOS environments.
• Administer user accounts, access permissions, and ensure data security compliance.

2. Systems & Network Administration (L2/L3)

• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain servers, storage, and network devices.
• Perform preventive maintenance, system updates, and patch management.
• Handle incident escalation and infrastructure troubleshooting with L3 autonomy.

3. Documentation

• Create and update technical documentation, operating procedures, and knowledge base articles.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Systems & Virtualization: Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Windows 11, macOS, Nutanix, and VMware.
• Messaging: Administration of on-premises Microsoft Exchange.
• Networking & Security: Solid working knowledge of Fortinet and Cisco solutions.
• Mobile Device Management (MDM): Hands-on experience with VMware AirWatch (Workspace ONE)
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, autonomy, and customer-service orientation.
