Job summary

The Global Fund seeks an Operations Officer for Investment Oversight to support funding requests, grant-making and portfolio optimization across multiple workstreams. You will help ensure compliance, quality assurance and timely guidance to applicants and partners, coordinating with the Secretariat and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Over 2 years of relevant professional experience in an international organization, nonprofit, or private sector.
• Experience drafting and producing time-sensitive documents (policies, manuals, governance docs).
• Experience with stakeholder- and board-level communication and briefings for senior decision-makers.
• Knowledge of grant-making processes and portfolio management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Funding request and grant-making design, compliance and quality assurance.
• Coordinate TRP/GAC cycles, meetings and documentation with stakeholders.
• Develop guidance materials for applicants and partners (templates, modular framework).
• Screen eligibility and coordinate governance, including CCM-related processes.
• Prepare allocation letters and governance materials for PO funding waves.
• Support portfolio optimization design and the launch of PO waves.
